Georgia's 24-hour nightmare is over. Linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons finally sent in his signed letter of intent on Thursday morning.
During National Signing Day on Wednesday, Harvey-Clemons held a televised press conference in which he announced that he'd be signing with Georgia. The problem is, after committing on television, Harvey-Clemons never sent his letter of intent into the school. Rumors quickly began spreading that maybe the linebacker was having second thoughts about his committment.
Rumors that grew only louder when Harvey-Clemons couldn't be contacted throughout the day.
It turns out that Josh's committment never waivered, it's just that he could never get a hold of his grandfather, who also happens to be his legal guardian. His signature was needed on the letter of intent along with Harvey-Clemons'.
There were reports that Woodrow Clemons was making himself hard to find because he wanted his grandson to go to Florida, not Georgia.
Whatever the reasoning behind the situation, as of Thursday morning, Harvey-Clemons is officially a Georgia Bulldog.
